Usher And New Wife, Jennifer, Spend Their Honeymoon In Thailand
Following his Super Bowl Sunday high when he got married and dominated the world’s biggest stage, Usher snuck off to Thailand with his new wife, Jennifer Goicoechea, for their adventurous honeymoon.
The newlyweds enjoyed a competitive game of Monopoly, a romantic moonlit boat ride, an elephant safari, and more as seen in a vlog the crooner posted on Instagram, captioned “U POV #JungleLife.”
In a separate video, Goicoechea is seen relaxing peacefully in a pool, but it wasn’t long before her beau interrupted her zen with some playfulness by diving into the pool cannonball-style. The moment was captioned, “Inner Peace, Inner Peace,…Inner Piece of DEEZ CANNONBALLZ!!! #Welcome to the #Jungle!!”
The couple was first romantically linked back in 2019 and share two children, Sovereign Bo, 3, and Sire Castrello, 2.
When speaking on their relationship pre-wedding, Usher told PEOPLE, “Listen, when you find someone that you know is a great partner, of course it is an honor and a pleasure to be able to share life with someone who wants to share it with you and loves you, who you are.”
He continued, “We’ve obviously made a commitment to life for life together because of our children,” he continued. “It wouldn’t be odd for us to get married […] and we’re going to be in each other’s lives until we die, obviously, because we have something to share. That’s beautiful. Our children. But not because of that. I really do feel like I have an amazing partner that I respect.”
When the new Mrs. Raymond broke her silence on their nuptials, she wrote, “Pinch me,” alongside photos from the big day.
Several of the pair’s friends including Angie Martinez, Jozzy, Lloyd, Amber Riley, Miguel, and Kandi Burruss also flooded their mentions with well wishes and congratulatory sentiments.
