EXCLUSIVE: Oscar nominee Derek Cianfrance has rounded out an impressive cast for true-life heist pic Roofman, his first feature since The Light Between Oceans back in 2016. Newcomers include Uzo Aduba (Orange Is the New Black), Ben Mendelsohn (The Marsh King’s Daughter), LaKeith Stanfield (Judas and the Black Messiah), Juno Temple (Ted Lasso), Melonie Diaz (Fruitvale Station), Molly Price (Babygirl), the newly Gotham Award-nominated Lily Collias (Good One), Emory Cohen (Rebel Ridge), and Tony Revolori (The Grand Budapest Hotel).

As previously announced, Channing Tatum, Kirsten Dunst, and Peter Dinklage will also star in the film based on the unbelievable true story of Jeffrey Manchester (Tatum), a U.S. Army Reserve officer turned convicted spree-robber who rose to infamy as the ‘Rooftop Robber’ or ‘Roofman.’ A specialist in robbing McDonald’s locations across the U.S., Manchester’s criminal exploits kicked off in November 1998. His M.O. was to drill through the roof during the night or early morning, maintaining a gentle demeanor and rarely resorting to violence over the course of 40-60 estimated robberies, even while holding employees at gunpoint.
