'Vanderpump Rules' star Ariana Madix breaks silence on Tom Sandoval 'betrayal'
"Vanderpump Rules" star Ariana Madix is speaking out for the first time since the alleged cheating scandal between ex Tom Sandoval and their co-star Raquel Leviss.
"Hi. Where to begin?" Madix wrote in an Instagram post Thursday. "I want to express my most sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love and support I have received from friends, family, and people I’ve never even met in the last two weeks."
The support surrounding her gave the reality star "strength to continue and see me through my darkest hours," she said.
"To say I have been devastated and broken is an understatement," Madix continued. "However, I know that I am not in this alone." Referring to her "VPR" co-stars, she added, "so many of my closest friends are also grieving this loss right now and reeling from this betrayal on so many levels."

She once again thanked her support system, calling them the "best" in the world. "I hope I can repay every single person for the love you have shown me," Madix wrote.
The "VPR" star closed out her message, "what doesn’t kill me better run."
People, E! News and TMZ reported Madix and Sandoval broke up following Sandoval’s alleged affair with Leviss. The former couple had been together for nine years, according to E! News.
Several of Madix's "VPR" co-stars shared messages of support in the comments section of her latest post. "THERE SHE IS!!!!" Scheana Shay wrote.
Katie Maloney commented, "You’re a force! Love you!!!"
Former "VPR" star Kristen Doute, who used to date Sandoval, told Madix, "I love you babycakes. You are slaying life & your support squad is here for your trustfall. watch out world : she back."

On March 7, Sandoval directly addressed Madix by name in another lengthy Instagram statement.
"Most of all, I want to apologize to Ariana. I made mistakes, I was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love," he wrote. "No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly."
He continued: "I can only imagine how devastating this has been for Ariana and everyone around us … My biggest regret is that I dishonored Ariana. … My love for Ariana was stronger than any camera could ever have captured... I owed Ariana better."

Leviss shared a statement on Instagram March 8 apologizing for her "actions and my choices to Ariana, my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships."
She wrote there was "no excuse" for her actions and that she is "not a victim and must own my actions. I deeply regret hurting Ariana."
Leviss also shared she was reflecting on her choices, speaking to a counselor, and learning more about herself and "patterns of codependency and addiction to being and feeling loved."
