The former castmates reunited at an event for Vanessa Hudgens' new Caliwater flavor launch in Santa Monica, California
High School Musical, who says we have to let it go?
Former East High Wildcats — a.k.a. Vanessa Hudgens (Gabriella Montez), Monique Coleman (Taylor McKessie) and Olesya Rulin (Kelsi Nielsen) — reunited for a very special occasion.
Over the weekend, Hudgens' Caliwater beverage brand hosted a launch party for its latest flavor offering at The Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica, California, and Coleman, 42, and Rulin, 37, were in attendance to show their support.
The trio posed for a selfie together as well as took a photo alongside Hudgens' mother, Gina.

"Such an incredible launch for pineapple @caliwater with my bestie and partner @olivertrevena ??," Hudgens, 34, captioned the post. "Thank you @thegeorgian for hosting us and all of my amazing friends that turned up to support ????."
Coleman commented beneath Hudgens' post with multiple yellow heart emojis. She also shared similar photos from the event, along with a caption that began, "'We make each other strong' ????," which is a reference to the song "We're All in This Together" from the 2006 original film.
"It was pure JOY celebrating my love @vanessahudgens and the launch of @caliwater newest flavor pineapple (which is DELICIOUS btw ??) with my soul sister @olesyarulin," she continued. "?? It's beautiful to see how far we’ve all come ?? Congrats V!!! Always proud ????."
Hudgens later responded to Coleman's post, "Love yoooou."

Hudgens, Coleman and Rulin all starred in the 2006 Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) High School Musical alongside Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel, KayCee Stroh, Alyson Reed, Bart Johnson, Chris Warren Jr. and Ryne Sanborn. The film was an overnight sensation, later sparking two sequel films, a concert tour and a spinoff series for Disney+.
The cast has largely stayed connected to each other — and the franchise — over the years.
Most of the crew reunited for a 2020 ABC special, titled The Disney Family Singalong, where they sang "We're All in This Together." Coleman later starred in the 2021 Lifetime holiday movie, A Christmas Dance Reunion, alongside her High School Musical love interest Bleu, 34.
Last year, both Hudgens and Efron, 35, visited the real-life school where the films were filmed on separate occasions.

Even though the original film debuted 17 years ago, it's still managed to maintain a strong presence within today's culture.
"The fact is kids are still watching it. Kids are still being introduced to it," Hudgens told Entertainment Tonight last year of the franchise's legacy. "Kids are still being introduced to it. I just saw 'Gotta Go My Own Way' is trending on TikTok. It never dies, thanks to you guys!"
