Vanilla Ice, Smash Mouth headlining 2024 SoCal Taco Fest
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Tacos, cocktails and live music are taking over San Diego’s Waterfront Park for the SoCal Taco Fest this August, featuring headliners Vanilla Ice and Smash Mouth.
The 9th annual SoCal Taco Fest is taking place from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, August 17 at the Waterfront Park along the Embarcadero in downtown San Diego.

The festival will feature over 20 taco shops, micheladas, cocktails and beer, Chihuahua Races and a Beauty Pageant, a best dressed competition, a new karaoke stage, live Lucha Libre wrestling, along with live music.
Headliners Vanilla Ice and Smash Mouth will end the night on the Main Stage, following performances by Los Amigos Invisibles, Fast Times – the Ultimate 80s Tribute Band, Rising Star, and Xavier The X-Man’s DJ Set. There will also be live music on the Barrio Stage.

Attendees must be 21 or older. SoCal Taco Fest is a cashless event.
Waterfront Park is located at 1600 Pacific Hwy in San Diego. General admission and VIP tickets are available online.
