Victoria Justice just solved “a lifelong mystery” about signed fan mail for one TikTok user.

On July 11, Justice, 31, posted a TikTok response to creator Matt Tighe and confirmed that a signed photo his mom gave to him was actually autographed by her.

In his original TikTok video posted on May 12, Tighe revealed that he was nine years old when season 2 of Zoey 101 premiered on Nickelodeon and “Victoria was my first celebrity TV crush.” He then showed off a signed photo of Justice that read “Matt, you’re awesome!! Thanks for the support!”

“To this day, I have no clue if this is real or not,” he continued. “As an adult I’ve been begging my mom to give me an answer if that is a real signed piece of fan mail from Victoria Justice, but she keeps saying yes and honestly, I just don’t believe her.”

Tighe then shared screenshots of Justice’s signature found online and shared his doubts. He even revealed that he wanted to bring the photo to Nickelodeon when he worked at the studio and ask Justice in person but “I lost my opportunity.”

Tighe just finally got his answer. “I did sign that picture for you,” Justice confirmed in her response video. “Although my signature has evolved over the years.”

Her video then showed a note written by the Victorious actress that said “Matt you’re still awesome!! This is proof that your mom’s NOT a liar” and was signed with her current signature. Justice then ended the video with the advice to “always trust your mom.”

Justice also posted the video on Instagram and wrote in the caption “video really made me smile. Hope this brings you some clarity ??p.s. tell your mom I say hi ???? (also, that photo lol ??).”

Tighe then showed himself calling up his mom and apologized “for doubting you.” His mom responded “I told you!”

“I thought maybe somebody else did it,” his mom admitted on the call. “I mailed into [a fan mail address]. I didn’t send money and I think I wrote a note and said ‘my son’s a fan or something’ and then got the [photo] back.”

“I feel so much better now,” she concluded on the phone call.
