They've been divorced for 14 years, but apparently there's still bad blood between Brooke Shields and Andre Agassi.

When appearing on the Today show Wednesday for a segment titled, "Dealing with Divorce: How to Move On," Shields referenced her own experiences when the discussion turned to children of divorce. "I am divorced," Shields said. "And mine was very quick and relatively easy, but it's a very interesting thing because he -- quote, unquote -- did say to me, 'Be happy that we don't have children or I would not have made this easy for you.'"

Shields and Agassi married in April 1997, but they divorced less than two years later. Shields, 48, went on to marry TV writer and producer Chris Henchy in 2001, and the couple have two children together: Rowan, 10, and Grier, 7. Agassi, 43, also remarried in 2001, to fellow tennis pro Steffi Graf. They also have two children together: 11-year-old Jaden and 9-year-old Jaz.

Back in 2009, Agassi offered his side of the story about their divorce on the Today show when promoting his memoir, Open. "I think at that time in my life, I couldn't be married to anyone. I think timing is really important. You need in a marriage, two people who understand themselves," he said," and I certainly didn't understand myself."
