Video Premiere: Gemaine Stages Double Date on ‘Let Me In’
Compton is known for a number of top hip-hop artists – N.W.A., Game, Kendrick Lamar, DJ Quik, among others – but it’s time to add an R&B singer to the list. Gemaine, a 20-year-old vocalist could be the one.

In the video, the balladeer goes to the extremes to get a date with a woman, agreeing to go out with another couple – her offbeat girlfriend and his begrudgingly annoyed bro.
The song appears on Gemaine’s recently released EP, Curious. The self-taught pianist who grew up singing in the church gained notoriety earlier when his song “Freaky” went viral, prompting fans to post videos of themselves dancing provocatively to the song.
