Vigo County CEO organizes fun, family entertainment in Terre Haute Saturday

Vigo County Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities students have organized a fun day of activities Saturday “to showcase the best of what Terre Haute has to offer in entertainment and bring the community closer.” The event is called Community Band Together.

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., attendees can experience local attractions such as Wigwam Skating and Event Center (1:30 to 4 p.m.), Terre Haute Bowling Center (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.), Terre Haute Children’s Museum (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.), AMC Classic Terre Haute 12 Theater (4 to 7 p.m.), and Ginger Ale’s (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.).

Those who buy a ticket, which gives them a wristband, receive the following:

* One game of bowling w/shoe rental.

* One 16 oz basic drink at Ginger Ale’s.

* Skating admission (skate rental is $4, if needed).

* Admission to Children’s Museum.

* Admission to a movie from 4 to 7 p.m.

After purchasing a ticket, participants should show their email receipt at their first stop to get their wristband.

It’s a $70 value for $15 (kids 13 and under) $20 for adults.

There are only 300 wristbands available. If tickets are still available the day of the event, they will sell at the Terre Haute Bowling Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
