Thirty-four years ago this week, the cast of Saved by the Bell gathered in Los Angeles while Will Smith partied with his Fresh Prince costars and a young Leonardo DiCaprio hung out with David Arquette. Madonna’s epic Blond Ambition Tour hit London — though fellow ambitious blonde Princess Diana took in the ballet instead. And Patrick Swayze showed up to salute his Ghost costar Whoopi Goldberg at a gala held in her honor.

Full House hunk John Stamos and then-girlfriend Paula Abdul stepped out for a July 16 party celebrating the launch of legendary music producer Quincy Jones's new entertainment company at the Roxbury in West Hollywood.

Also at the party for Quincy Jones: actress Kate Capshaw and husband Steven Spielberg.

Diana, Princess of Wales, looked stunning in a shimmering blue gown at the opening night of the English National Ballet at London's Coliseum Theatre on July 16.

Dionne Warwick was fêted at New York's Cafe Society restaurant on July 18. The party was in honor of her recently released album of Cole Porter songs.

One Cool Cast

Almost the entire cast of Saved by the Bell was on hand for NBC's "Summer Blast" party at L.A.'s Century Plaza Hotel on July 19. Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Elizabeth Berkley, Mario Lopez, Dennis Haskins, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen and Lark Voorhies posed for a photo sans costar Dustin Diamond.

Friendly Face

Also at the "Summer Blast" party: Jennifer Aniston. The future Friends star was set to star in NBC's new sitcom based on Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Over in Beverly Hills, Liam Neeson opted for a combo of studious specs and a bolo tie for Esquire's July 19  "Women We Love" Celebration at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
