Virgin 'Bachelorette' contestant doesn't get the reaction he was hoping for

On The Bachelorette, Becca Kufrin needed a bomb shelter after saying Colton Underwood would have to “drop a crazy bomb” on her to not get a rose. As it turns out, Colton was about to drop quite a bomb: He’s a virgin.

Colton, who is 26 years old, was understandably nervous about sharing this information with Becca, but he’d finally worked up the courage and was about to tell her, but a boat suddenly pulled up, blew its horn, and really ruined the mood. But after the first attempt ended prematurely, Colton was able to go the distance the second time around. “I haven’t had that many girlfriends or that many dates because of sports. And because of that, I still am… I am a virgin,” the former NFL player said, obviously nervous. Becca responded, “Really?” Colton explained that he was so focused on football that it just never happened, and that now he’s just waiting for the right woman.

Becca had some encouraging words for Colton, then needed some time to let it sink in and excused herself to the balcony, leaving Colton to wonder if he’d just blown it. “After telling her that I’m a virgin, she got up and walked away. I’m scared of what her reaction — I just don’t know what she’s thinking right now,” Colton said. But all that fear and anxiety about Becca was all for nothing. She showed she’s still willing to be that special lady for Colton by giving him a rose.
