Did the 'Voice' coaches just crown a winner?
The Voice coaches were all worked up over 36-year-old Terrance Cunningham, who floored everyone with an incredible rendition of The Temptations’ classic, “My Girl.”
It didn’t take long for all four coaches to turn their chairs, and Terrance’s amazing performance left them all a bit stunned. Blake Shelton said, “I think we’re all a little bit speechless right now.” But once they gathered their thoughts, the coaches had plenty of good things to say. Alicia Keys told Terrance, “Like, if I ever did anything right, it was come to this show only to meet you.” While Adam Levine added, “Whoever is lucky enough to have you is gonna learn as much from you as they’ll be able to teach. I want to coach you more than I’ve ever wanted to coach another person on The Voice.“
Unfortunately for Adam, Blake, and Kelly Clarkson, Terrance chose Alicia as his coach. And while it’s usually the contestants who are super excited to work with one of the coaches, this time it was the other way around. Alicia said, “It was the craziest thing ever. I was shaking. I couldn’t believe how I felt. I never felt like that before on this show. Like, I can’t even tell you how happy I am.”
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC. Watch clips and full episodes of The Voice for free on Yahoo View.
