‘Voice’ Contestant’s Voice Described as ‘Meaty’
The battle rounds on The Voice came to an end Tuesday night, and Team Adam contestants Bindi Liebowitz and Brendan Fletcher finished the round on a high note. The two sang “Home” by Marc Broussard, and they put on the best performance of the evening.
Adam Levine’s special adviser, Sammy Hagar, loved Brendan’s voice during rehearsals. The Red Rocker said that Brendan’s voice was like a “big ol’ oak tree stump” and even called it “meaty.” And Sammy wasn’t the only one who liked Brendan’s voice: Adam ended up choosing the “meaty” singer as the winner of the battle.
But that wasn’t the end of the road for Bindi, as she had an impressive performance as well. So impressive that Blake Shelton decided to use his final “steal” to add her to his team. After the show, Blake was backstage with his newest team member and her mom. Bindi told Blake, “My mother was so mad at me for picking Adam because she wants to hug you so bad.” So Blake made her mom’s dream come true and gave her a big ol’ hug.
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
