'The Voice' goes live with dizzying number of amazing performances and live voting

It was a crazy night on The Voice as the live Playoffs finally got underway. All 24 contestants hit the stage for an unprecedented number of performances in one jam-packed show. I could hardly catch my breath in between what were some pretty great performances, like Christiana Danielle‘s unique version of Outkast‘s “Hey Ya.”

In addition to tons of tunes, there was real-time voting — at least for the East Coast — that resulted in one member from each team proceeding to the Top 12. Brynn Cartelli from Team Kelly Clarkson moved on, as did Sharane Calister from Adam Levine‘s team. Team Blake Shelton saw Kyla Jade voted through, and Britton Buchanan made it from Alicia Keys‘s team.

The remaining 20 contestants will sing for their Voices live Tuesday and Wednesday. So we can look forward to more incredible performances.
