‘The Voice’ season 26 episode 6 recap: Blinds conclude with a total of 17 four-chair turn auditions
Tonight on “The Voice,” coaches Michael Buble, Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani sat for Part 6 of the Blind Auditions round of season 26. Michael began the night with three open spots on his team while the other three teams each had two spots to fill. Over the course of the night, each of those spots were claimed by an artist and all four coaches completed their teams of 14.
Among the artists picked up in this final night of the round were two more four-chair turn auditions, for a season total of a whopping 17. The final two were Katie O with “One Way Ticket (Because I Can)” who chose Reba and Jose Luis who chose Gwen after singing “traitor.” Jose was Team Gwen’s 14th artist, making her the first coach to complete a team. The other four chair turn artists that have a spot on Gwen’s team are Sydney Sterlace, Austyns Stancil, Frankie Torres, Gabrielle Zabosky, and Camryn Brooks for a season-leading six total.

Katie O was Reba’s third four chair turn artist — she also picked up Danny Joseph and Tanner Frick in four-way contests. Snoop’s team boasts three four chair turn artists: Jake Tankersley, DREION and Georgia Starnes. Michael picked up four of his own: Sofronio Vasquez, Jeremy Beloate, Shye, and Cameron Wright.
Seven other artists joined a team in Episode 6. Team Snoop recruited Mikaela Ayira and Suede Lacy. Team Reba also picked up Alison Elena. Team Gwen also added Cozy Len. Team Buble brought in Cassidy Lee, Torion Sellers and Aliyah Khaylyn.
In brief comments about their completed teams, the coaches expressed pride in their selections. Gwen said that she has “a little bit of everything,” including soul, pop and country artists. Michael referred to his team as the “most diverse” because he’s the only one with an artist that sang in another language and has soul singers, a country artist, character voices, and rock, pop and R&B. Reba said she picked her team based on “how much they moved [her] and touched [her] heart” and has plans to defend her crown as the winning coach. Snoop appreciates that his team is made up of “different ages, different ethnicities and different genres of music.”
The coaches will begin to pit artist against artist next week when the Battle Round begins on October 21.
