The Walking Dead: Dead City Subverts Expectations in Season 2 Teaser: ‘You’re In for a Bit of a Shock’
In the Season 2 teaser for The Walking Dead: Dead City that AMC dropped Friday during the show’s New York Comic-Con panel, Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan is ready to light it up — literally. “Power,” he intones, “equals power.” And just like that, Manhattan springs back to life!
Elsewhere in the clip, Lauren Cohan’s Maggie questions why her frenemy is all of a sudden so keen on resurrecting the Big Apple. “I guess you’re in for a bit of a shock” is the apparent reply. Presumably, Maggie will be the last to find out that her husband’s killer has only turned evil again in order to keep her son Hershel from losing more than a toe to the villainous Dama. (More on that here.)
