Walmart's Early Black Friday Sale Will Take Care of All Your Tech and Kitchen Shopping

The beauty of doing your Black Friday shopping online is that you can rest assured that you won’t wind up in a stampede at a local major retailer, captured by TV news cameras locked in a life-or-death struggle over a steeply discounted slow cooker. But shopping from home has its own perils—the internet is a big, big place, and it can be tough to sort through the myriad deals that America’s favorite shopping holiday brings. Post-Thanksgiving brain fog is an impediment all its own—after the big day of family, food, football, and booze, it's hard to wake up refreshed and ready to comparison shop.

Luckily, some stores give you a bit of a head start, so you can begin your Black Friday spree before the rest of the digital hoards start swarming, and without the pressure of a nerve-wracking one-day shop-a-thon. Walmart’s pre-Black Friday sale started on November 22, a full week before the big day. Among its offerings are some pretty great gadgets, including Intel laptops and Samsung televisions. It has kitchen tools, like a Hamilton Beach turkey roaster oven that could be a life saver in oh, just about a week or so. There's also an Instant Pot air fryer that's perfect for anyone who wants to make tasty, crunchy snacks without all those deep-fried calories. Oh, and there's a Monopoly Game of Thrones set, which is definitely a perfect gift for the person in your life who wants their hyper-capitalist board games to be packed with zombies and dragons.

Do it now before all the retail madness sets in later this week.
