'Wannabe' in Spice Girl Mel B's house? Her L.A. property hits the market for $5.9M
Mel B has a property that will really spice up your life.
The Spice Girls’s Scary Spice — real name: Melanie Brown — has put the West Hollywood, Calif., home that she shared with ex-husband Stephen Belafonte back on the market. The couple, who married in 2007, bought the house for $4.34 million in 2014, before their bitter split three years later. The owners first listed the property for $8.995 million in 2017, according to the Los Angeles Times, so now it’s a steal.
Today, the 1928 house is for sale for $5.9 million. For that, the new buyer will get a four-story house that spans 5,226 square feet nestled above the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. It offers four bedrooms, six bathrooms and three fireplaces under 20-foot high ceilings. Luxury features include a home theater, a recording studio, an indoor gym and a smart home system, which allows the owner to remotely control lights, sounds and other functions.
Outdoors, there’s a pool and spa, a four-car garage, a built-in grill and much more.
Take a look around:
Brown has been busy as of late, starring in TV shows including the just concluded season of America’s Got Talent: The Champions and a fresh episode of the reality competition series Drop the Mic. Of course, she’s also prepping for the Spice Girls reunion tour (minus Posh Spice Victoria Beckham) happening over the summer in the U.K.
