'I want to move on': Lori Loughlin's daughter Olivia Jade shares first video since scandal
Olivia Jade Giannulli, the 20-year-old social media influencer and Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli's younger daughter, is speaking out in her first YouTube video since news broke of the college admissions scandal.
In the two-minute video titled "hi again," Giannulli says she isn't "legally" allowed to talk about the scandal, but wanted to acknowledge the controversy before diving back into her regular content.
"Obviously I've been gone for a really long time and as much as I wish I could talk about all of this, it's really hard for me to say this, just because I know that it's something that needs to be addressed," she said. "Which is also why I didn't know exactly when I should come back to YouTube. The reason for that is just because I'm legally not allowed to speak on anything going on right now."

Giannulli, who has accumulated nearly 2 million YouTube subscribers, said she weighed her return to posting her twice-weekly fashion, beauty and lifestyle vlogs for "seven or eight months" while debating how to handle the controversy. Her last video, a clothing haul, was posted two days before news of her parents' involvement in the scandal broke on March 12.
Her parents, "Fuller House" star Loughlin and designer Giannulli, whose Mossimo label has been featured at Target stores, were both charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud. Court papers accused the couple of bribing college officials with payments totaling $500,000 to facilitate the college entry for Olivia and her sister, Isabella Rose, 21.
Lawyers for Loughlin and Giannulli most recently entered not guilty pleas on their behalf to new charges of conspiracy to commit federal program bribery. Their daughters no longer attend the University of Southern California.
"I genuinely miss filming and I feel like a huge part of me is just not the same because this is something that I'm really passionate about and something I really like to do," Olivia continued. "I want to come back because I want to come back. There's no point in me just talking for 10 minutes to the camera about how I wish I could say something when I really can't, so I'm going to leave it at that."
Giannulli, who goes by "Olivia Jade" online, thanked her followers for their patience during her nearly nine-month hiatus.
"I really appreciate it," she said. "This is the best I can do and I want to move on with my life – not trying to be in a selfish way. It's so hard because I'm not trying to, like, make this about me or how I've been, because it's not the point of this, though I'm terrified to make this video and to come back… The moral of the story is: I've missed you guys so much and I'm just really excited to start filming again."
