War 2: Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR to shoot for weeks
War 2 is the official sequel to the 2019 film War, helmed by Siddharth Anand. The previous installment saw Tiger Shroff opposite Hrithik Roshan. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, a source close to the development discussed the film’s ongoing shoot.
The source revealed that Hrithik Roshan is shooting for his entry sequence. “He is shooting for his entry sequence, and it’s an action-packed stint.” Moreover, he has allotted about two months of his schedule to shoot the movie. The source said, “Hrithik has allotted merely 55 to 60 days for War 2 and most of the film will be shot at studios in Mumbai. Interestingly, it will be a wrap for Hrithik on War 2 by June 2024, and it’s among those films which he will conclude in record time.”
On the other hand, Jr NTR has a similar schedule for War 2 and will be seen shooting for two straight months. The source said, “Much like Hrithik, Jr. NTR too has allotted 60 days to shoot for War, which includes 25 to 30 days of combination shoot. YRF has mastered the art of mounting big films efficiently – as this template neither requires more days of shoot from actors nor does it add on to the budget.”
The release date of War 2 has not been locked yet. However, it is expected to be released next year.
