Watch Christian Slater sing about safety on 'Milo Murphy's Law'
If you happened to catch Mr. Robot star Christian Slater on The Late Late Show with James Corden earlier this month, you saw him reminiscing about his time as a young Broadway star when Corden showed a clip of him performing at the 1983 Tonys with the cast of the musical Merlin. Corden wondered why Slater wasn’t doing more singing — and now he has.
In the Sept. 25 episode of Disney XD’s Milo Murphy’s Law, Slater’s character, school crossing guard and safety nut Elliot Decker, is hired as the head safety monitor at Milo’s school — but only if he can keep things safe for a 24-hour probationary period.
Judging from our exclusive sneak peek above, in which Elliot accepts an award with a song-and-dance number — “I’m no friend to careless living, danger’s biggest enemy/I’m a solder in the war on accidental injury” — confidence isn’t an issue.
The “Disaster of My Dreams” episode of Milo Murphy’s Law airs Sept. 25 at 7 a.m. on Disney XD.
