Watch the 'Incredible' 9-Year-Old Singer Who Won Heidi Klum's 'AGT' Golden Buzzer
Judge Sofia Vergara commented early on Tuesday night’s America’s Got Talent that Season 19 appears to be “the season of the cool kids.” The last act of the night, 9-year-old singer Pranysqa Mishra from Tampa, Fla, gave proof to her words.
Her rendition of Tina Turner’s “River Deep Mountain High” earned her Heidi Klum’s second Golden Buzzer of the season when Pranysqa’s big voice took everyone by surprise.
“Oh, my gosh, I did not expect that,” Heidi said. “We expect a lot of things but I did not expect that. And you know what I’m going to do now because I honestly don’t want to hear what Howie, Sofia and Simon have to say? I want you to call your grandmother and say that Heidi Klum pushed the Golden Buzzer for you.”
And that’s just what she did.

When Heidi went onstage to hug Pranysqa, the younger singer was overwhelmed. In fact, too overwhelmed to speak when host Terry Crews asked her how she felt.
So, Heidi picked up the slack, saying, “Congratulations. You deserve it. You were absolutely incredible.”
Next, they went backstage where they called Pranysqa’s grandmother.
Heidi told her, “She did really well. She got my Golden Buzzer.”
Earlier, Pranysqa talked about how she always loved singing because it makes her happy.

“When I was 4 years old, I would pretend I had a microphone and I would sing like I was singing to the whole world,” she said. “My grandmother always tells me to sing my heart out and one day, I will be on a big stage.”
Her grandmother’s prediction came true. Not only was Pranysqa on a big stage, she's going straight through to the America’s Got Talent Live Shows.
America’s Got Talent airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Streams next day on Peacock.
