How to watch the 'James Bond' movies in order
If you're a 007 fan looking to watch "James Bond" movies in order, we have the perfect guide. While you'll still need a couple of streaming services to watch every single Bond adventure, at least the list is shrinking. Many of the movies are no longer able to stream at all, and those that are (the newer ones) almost all on Prime Video.
The "James Bond" movie franchise has been going strong since 1962, with the release of "Dr. No." The Bond movies have attracted a fervent fanbase and the franchise has become one of the most iconic in Hollywood history. This legacy continued most recently in "No Time to Die," which featured Daniel Craig as the secret agent for the final time.
The "James Bond" movies are based on Ian Fleming's novels and short stories, first published in 1953. There are 27 films in total, 25 of which were produced by Eon Productions. Eon, founded by producers Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman, now own the rights to all of Fleming's novels after decades of contentious legal battles.
Throughout the Bond franchise, six actors have portrayed the dashing, debonaire agent: Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig. (A seventh, David Niven, played Bond in the non-Eon version of "Casino Royale" in 1967.) With Craig's run now over, we've already been pondering who could replace him as the next James Bond. Aaron Taylor-Johnson seems to be the top choice among fans at the moment.
