Country legend Glen Campbell died yesterday after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Last night, John Mayer covered one of the songs popularized by Campbell, “Gentle On My Mind,” during his show in Tennessee. “I’m going to play this song with more love than precision,” he prefaced it by saying, per a review of the show in USA Today. “And I play it because it’s my favorite song in the world.” Watch the tribute below.
