Watch: Kim Kardashian pretends to cut Tristan Thompson's neck in Khloé Kardashian's delivery room after cheating scandal
Khloé Kardashian warmly welcomed Tristan Thompson in the delivery room for the birth of their first child together — despite his cheating scandal — but big sis Kim was as cold as ice.
In a preview of Sunday’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians, there was definitely a strain as Kim and company arrived at the eleventh hour to assist with Khloé’s labor. Looming large was Tristan, who made headlines just prior for stepping out on his very pregnant partner.
Kim was shocked to see Khloé and Tristan looking so cozy and holding hands, so she followed her sister’s lead and didn’t say anything — well, to his face. More than once, when the NBA star’s back was to her, Kim stood behind him making gestures about slitting his neck to the crowd in the room. She also stuck her tongue out at him for good measure.
Khloé must have seen her and said to both Tristan and Kim, because she lifted her oxygen mask to ask, “You are going to say ‘Hi’ to each other or no?” They kind of fake hugged — a smile plastered on Kim’s face. And a little later, Kim again pretended to cut his neck when he turned around.
But that was the worst of it. “The vibe in the room was calm,” Kim said. “I thought there would be way more tension. As much as I want to go off, I just don’t think it’s the time. So I’m going to keep it cute. I don’t have to have a lot of interaction. I just have to be there for her.”
The teaser also showed Kylie FaceTiming in for the big delivery, mama Kris dancing excitedly, and maybe someone saying they broke Khloé’s water? (That part, at 0:33 mark, was confusing, and maybe the main reason we’d tune in.)
Things between Khloé and Tristan seemed rocky after the cheating scandal. It was up in the air as to whether she’d return to Cleveland with him when his season started. While she was there at least for a visit, she was back in L.A. over the weekend, where she and True were holed up with Rob and Dream as the wildfires swept through Calabasas. On Sunday, Khloé was with Kim, Kourt, Kendall and Kris at the People’s Choice Awards, where they won for reality show of 2018. In their acceptance speech, they thanked the firefighters for working so hard to contain the Woolsey Fire.
Kim’s relationship with Tristan was pretty frosty too. He blocked her on social media after she spoke out against him in an interview on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show, saying what he did was so “messed up.” He later unblocked her, but he reportedly didn’t want to.
