Watch Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley & James Corden Clown Around for Brit-Themed ‘Honky Tonk’ Song

Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley shook-off any pre-Academy of Country Music Awards nerves with a jolly good appearance overnight on The Late Late Show.

In an attempt to help further the country genre in the U.K., Bryan, Bentley and James Corden got into full dress for a British-themed “Honky Tonk” song.

With the show’s British host dressed as a King, Bryan as a Queen’s Guard, and Bentley as Sherlock Holmes (really!), the trio set about altering British tastes.

“Now my beloved Britain has been a leader in nearly every genre of music, however there is one genre that has never quite made its way across the pond. And that is country music,” explained Corden. “So, tonight I’ve enlisted the help of two country stars to change that by writing Britain’s first ever country music hit.”

With lyrics like these, there’s a good chance it won’t be a hit: “Clock outta work, watch a football match/have a pint at the pub and call it a day/another jolly good honky tonk in the U.K.”
