The release of Sleater-Kinney’s kick-ass comeback album No Cities to Love is only four days away, and the cool promotion bits keep coming. Last night (Jan. 15), the power trio stopped by Late Show With David Letterman for a performance of the album cut “New Wave.”

The band is in top form, but is that any surprise? Janet Weiss sounds great behind the kit and Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker trade vocal howls like it’s 1997. Carrie looks awfully comfy in her white pantsuit, which allows her to mix in some killer leg kicks.
