Watch Steve Carell & John Krasinski Crack Each Other Up Behind the Scenes of New Lavazza Commercial (Exclusive)

The 'Office' costars laughed and drank tons of coffee in an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip

Steve Carell and John Krasinski may not be in the Dunder Mifflin break room these days, but they still enjoy a cup of coffee together!

The Office alums had a reunion while filming a new commercial for Lavazza. In a PEOPLE exclusive behind-the-scenes clip, Carell and Krasinski star alongside the adorable face of Lavazza, Luigi the robot, as part of the coffee brand’s “Pleasure Makes Us Human” campaign.

At the start of the clip, above, Krasinski is seen crouching over Luigi as Carell sighs and meets him on the floor.

“He did it again?” Carell says as Krasinski responds, “Poor guy.” In the middle of the scene, the crew yells “cut!” Immediately, the duo break character and can't hold back a laugh.

Throughout the spot, they drink from several Lavazza-branded espresso cups. In one playful moment, Carell puts on a robotic voice, mimicking Luigi, as he takes an animated sip.

After he jokes around, he tells Krasinski to try the hilarious bit. The Jack Ryan star graciously declined to which Carell responded, “You’re so chicken.” His jab is, of course, followed by boisterous laughter.

One scene-stealing moment involves Carell picking up an Academy Award statue and almost putting it in Krasinski’s coffee cup to serve as a mixing utensil.

“And I dip it!” he jokes.

In April, the duo were up to their antics once again while on the set of the movie, IF.

A behind-the-scenes video showed Carell entering a recording studio where he embraced Krasinski as they both told each other, “It’s so good to see you.”

“I was just telling these guys – has it been years?” Krasinski asked.

“Years,” Carell replied, before joking with a shrug toward the cameras, “I’m glad we’re getting it. This is so intimate.”

The actors then decided to do a re-do of their reunion moment, with Carell exiting the studio and Krasinski pretending to introduce him a second time. “So anyway,  I haven’t seen Steve in, jeez, it’s gotta be…”

As Carell enters, he exclaimed, “Oh my God!” as if he didn’t just see the A Quiet Place actor seconds before, prompting Krasinski to do a spit-take of his water in feigned surprise.

“Are you kidding me?” Carell said excitedly.

Their shared project, IF hit theaters in May.
