Watch the 'Star Trek Beyond' Crew Mess Up, Make Sexy Noises in This Gag Reel (Exclusive)

Star Trek Beyond isn’t considered a comedy — yet thanks to all the witticisms in a script co-written by Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz), the latest sequel decidedly funnier than your average endeavor on the Enterprise.

It’s fitting, then, that Pegg (who plays Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott) kicks off our exclusive look at the gag reel from the special features of Beyond‘s Blu-ray and Digital HD release (watch in the player above) with an anatomy joke.

The ship’s whole crew gets in on the blunders and subsequent giggle fits, though, including Chris Pine (who introduces the term “full Shat” here), Heroes alum Greg Grunberg (who could be a candidate for the “You Had One Job” treatment after flubbing what we believe is his only line in the film), and the late Anton Yelchin (RIP).

There are even some malfunctioning spaceship doors. But nothing will prepare you for the clip’s climactic, Mmmm-off between Pine and Karl Urban as the whisky their characters Kirk and Bones pilfer from Chekov’s locker sends them into fits of ecstasy.
