Way Out West Festival returns to El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The City of El Paso’s Destination El Paso is partnering up to bring a returning downtown music festival in September.

Rave Marketing and Events and Destination El Paso are announcing the comeback of Way Out West Festival (WOW Fest).

Headlining the event will be country star Billy Currington.

The event will happen at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 28 at the El Paso Convention Center’s outdoor plaza and four surrounding streets of the main stage on San Antonio Street.

According to the news release by Destination El Paso, the tickets to WOW Fest are now on sale through their website here, but can also be purchased online through Ticketmaster or in person at the Plaza Theater Box Office.

“From inception, WOW Fest has aimed to elevate El Paso’s profile and shift the conversation on a regional and national scale by showcasing the vibrant and distinctive aspects of our community,” said founder of Rave Marketing and Events and Festival Architect Gina Roe-Davis. “As we step into the next phase of our growth, we will continue to celebrate the unique traditions and cultural richness of our city with the promise of new, expanded experiences for all to enjoy.”
