“This season is going to be bigger and more twisted than you could ever imagine,” says Catherine Zeta Jones, who plays matriarch Morticia Addams.
“If we showed you anymore, your eyes would bleed,” says Ortega, who stars as the eponymous spooky teen. “And I’m not that generous.”

The Burton-helmed show, which was created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, follows Wednesday Addams to Nevermore Academy, where she learns to master her emerging psychic abilities. In Season 1, she got to the bottom of a killing spree that was connected to her parents Morticia and Gomez (Luis Guzmán) meeting at the school 15 years earlier.
After previously starring as Wednesday in the Addams Family films and Burton’s Sleepy Hollow (1999), Christina Ricci appeared in the first season as Marilyn Thornhill.
Burton most recently revived his 1988 debut Beetlejuice with a long-awaited sequel also starring Ortega, along with returning cast members Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara.
