In a cell, a man removed Lucky’s (Jonathan Jackson) hood, revealing him as the prisoner. Lucky joked about his past achievements and expressed interest in working for Sidwell, their boss. The man questioned Lucky’s identity, but Lucky assured him of his experience and willingness to work for the right price. The man then asked if Lucky could be a spy, and Lucky responded that he had just eliminated several of their men.
A doctor, also a prisoner, was brought in, and Lucky was given a gun and told to kill the doctor as a test. When Lucky pulled the trigger, the gun was empty. The man declared Lucky had passed the test and instructed the doctor to tend to Lucky’s injuries.
Left alone, Lucky greeted the doctor, Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), who punched him and noted Lucky knew the gun was unloaded because it was too light. Isaiah explained they were in a mercenary compound in Africa, where he was held captive. Lucky, who had no specific plan, believed an opportunity would arise.
In Port Charles, Carly (Laura Wright) was taken to Brennan’s (Charles Mesure) office, where she realized she had been used as bait to lure Jason (Steve Burton). When Jason arrived, Carly left, and Brennan explained to Jason that he had made Carly’s evidence disappear to protect her, offering Jason a job. Despite Brennan’s offer and assurances, Jason refused and said he wouldn’t work for him. Brennan hinted that he might eventually give Jason something he wanted.
At the Quartermaines, Lois (Rena Sofer) discussed her accent and sales with Gio (Giovanni Palmieri). She worried it might affect her sales but was encouraged by Gio to embrace her identity. Later, she called a dialect coach, considering a change.
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Tracy (Jane Elliot) discussed Lulu’s transfer to General Hospital. Brook Lynn shared Lulu’s past with Chase (Josh Swickard), including her troubled teenage years and a terminated pregnancy. Tracy was visibly upset about Lulu’s condition.
At the hospital, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) learned from Portia (Brook Kerr) and another doctor that Lulu’s liver failure was due to the long-term medications she had been on. Laura (Genie Francis) hoped for a transplant, and Dante and Sam volunteered to be tested. Portia assured Laura that Nikolas (Adam Huss) would be tested immediately.
Laura, Dante, and Sam discussed Lulu’s situation, with Dante hoping Nikolas would be a match. Tracy visited Lulu, expressing her love and urging her to fight, as she had her father’s courage.
Robert (Tristan Rogers) visited Anna (Finola Hughes) to discuss finding Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), as Laura asked for help locating her granddaughter. Anna believed Brennan was hiding Valentin and needed to find him without Brennan knowing. Carly later informed Anna about Brennan’s manipulation and asked if there were any other secrets.

Dex (Evan Hofer) was running through the park at night when he spotted Molly (Kristen Vaganos) sitting alone on a bench. He checked on her, and she admitted she wasn’t okay. Molly confessed that she was struggling to face her family after the funeral and had said hurtful things to her mom and sister. Dex shared that he had also said terrible things to his family before leaving. Despite his regrets, he encouraged Molly to repair her relationships, unlike himself. However, Molly felt she could not return to the way things were and preferred having nothing over returning to the status quo.
At Alexis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) home, she received Ric’s (Rick Hearst) visit while she was on the phone discussing her daughters. Ric criticized Alexis for treating Molly as an afterthought and urged her to address Molly’s pain before it was too late. Alexis defended her focus on Kristina (Kate Mansi), who was struggling, but Ric insisted Molly also needed her.
When Molly arrived, she confronted Alexis about feeling like an afterthought. After talking through their issues, they reconciled.
At the hospital, Portia and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) were surprised by Portia’s presence after the funeral. Carly and Joss (Eden McCoy) asked about Lulu’s condition, and Portia explained Lulu needed a liver transplant. Carly volunteered to be tested, but Portia noted Carly’s previous organ transplant made her ineligible.
Liz discovered Heather (Alley Mills) was the patient from Pentonville and learned that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), who was supposed to meet Heather, was missing. Heather revealed plans to escape, but Portia said Heather would remain imprisoned. Ric arrived, announcing he was now Heather’s attorney and would help her sue the company.
Dante found Tracy in the chapel, where they discussed Lulu’s current state. Tracy blamed Dante for Lulu’s condition, arguing he had damaged her self-worth. Dante admitted his mistakes and regretted leaving Lulu, acknowledging that Tracy had been crucial to Lulu.
Dex sat conflicted at the Metro Court, thinking about calling his mother. Joss arrived, and they shared hopes for Lulu’s recovery. At Flatland Prison, Nikolas and Laura met, and Laura explained Lulu’s dire need for a transplant. Nikolas’s liver was tested, but it was not suitable for Lulu. In a motel, Ava (Maura West) told Cates (Adam J. Harrington) that she knew he was returning to Port Charles but felt unsafe without him. Cates assured her that Agent Boyle (Amor Owens) was there to watch over her and promised that if everything went according to plan, she could return to Port Charles and be safe from Sonny (Maurice Benard). Cates left, and Ava was alone with Agent Boyle. She made small talk and noted Boyle’s chic shoes and non-standard issue gun. Ava asked for coffee. While Boyle was out, she searched Boyle’s bag, discovering expensive items, a burner phone, and cash. Realizing something was amiss, Ava returned the bag and attempted to leave but was caught by Boyle.
At Alexis’ place, she updated Sonny on the funeral events. Kristina expressed regret about visiting Ava and revealed her deep grief over losing her baby. She mentioned dreaming of naming the baby Adela, which touched Sonny as it was his mother’s name. Kristina was struggling with her emotions and trying to avoid sleep to escape the pain.
Suddenly, Cates arrived with more questions for Kristina. Alexis forbade Kristina from speaking to him, but Sonny agreed to meet Cates at the Port Charles Grill under threat of Kristina’s custody. Alexis planned a snack and movie for later and left Kristina alone. Kristina called Jason for help, expressing her concern about Cates and Ava. Jason told her not to react to Cates’ threats and promised action against Cates.
Sonny met Cates at the Port Charles Grill, where Cates demanded Sonny confess to all his crimes. Sonny questioned Cates’ reliance on Ava’s confession and Cates assured him Ava would not recant.
At the hospital, Anna saw Tracy, who was distressed about Lulu’s condition. Tracy explained that Nikolas wasn’t a match and they needed to find Lucky. Anna asked about the donation process, and Tracy explained the DNA logistics.
Laura sought Brennan’s help to find him. Brennan agreed to assist but warned of the challenges and dangers. Laura decided to go herself, with Kevin accompanying her. Tracy agreed to look after Ace.
Anna asked Brennan for Valentin’s whereabouts, but he said he didn’t know. Anna was skeptical and warned him that failing to find Lucky would cost an innocent life.
A guard ordered Isaiah and Lucky to prepare for departure at the African compound. Isaiah confirmed their escape plan was working and that Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was being sent for tests. The guard left, and Lucky gave Isaiah his gun, instructing him to reach his contact and escape Africa. Isaiah hesitated but ultimately agreed, planning to contact the WSB for help.

At the station, Kristina was brought in handcuffs by Cates, who added a charge of manslaughter related to her unborn child. Alexis arrived, ordered Kristina to remain silent, and confronted Cates, accusing him of using Kristina to target Sonny. Cates insisted that any crime linked to a federal case could be tried federally and implied that Alexis knew how to make the charges disappear.
Later, Alexis told Sonny that Cates had arrested Kristina and urged him to comply with Cates’ demands to protect her. Sonny argued that he couldn’t help if he was in prison and expressed faith in Alexis and Diane’s (Carolyn Hennesy) ability to clear Kristina’s name. Alexis insisted that Sonny needed to act to save Kristina.
Dex was left alone with Kristina, and she insisted she hadn’t killed the baby. Cates dismissed Dex and told Kristina the baby’s death was Sonny’s fault, trying to coerce her to implicate Sonny. Kristina denied Cates’ accusations and accused him of being a criminal. Alexis returned, instructed to get Kristina arraigned, and prepared to accuse Cates of using Kristina’s tragedy to manipulate her.
Sonny called Jagger, offering to confess to all his crimes if Cates dropped the charges against Kristina. Cates agreed to arrest Sonny at the Quartermaines.
At the Quartermaines, Brook Lynn and Chase prepared for dinner with Violet (Jophielle Love), who asked about having a baby. They reassured her and discussed their plans. Dante told Carly that he wished he had stayed with Lulu. They argued about the past, and Brook Lynn overheard.

Lucky suggested they play cards. As they played, Sidwell asked about Lucky’s family, but Lucky said he had none. Lucky won the game, and Sidwell suggested a rematch.

At the PCPD, Cates ordered Dex to cuff Kristina and take her to a holding cell. Alexis intervened and threatened legal action. Anna joined the confrontation, demanding Cates complete the paperwork for Kristina’s transfer. Cates allowed Kristina to go home under the condition she not leave town.
Alexis took Kristina home, and Kristina thanked her mother before sneaking out to her dad’s place. She found his lockbox and took out a gun.
