Is Julz Tocker Joining Dancing With the Stars Season 33 as a Pro?
Tocker may have recently hinted that he could be part of the DWTS pro lineup. Some super sleuths zeroed in on Tocker’s recent Instagram Story, as he teased a “new adventure.”
“Early bird catches the worm or gym haha. Happy to be home in LA. Also excited for a new adventure baby! Coming soon,” the dancer shared on his Instagram Story.
Tocker is a great choice for DWTS, as the New Zealand dancer has plenty of ballroom dancing experience and was a Dancing With the Stars troupe member in Season 16. He’s also served as a judge on New Zealand’s Dancing With the Stars.
His cryptic Instagram Story may be a sign — or maybe it’s not what it seems at all. Either way, DWTS fans had fun discussing the possibility of Tocker joining Season 33. “I’m wondering if Julz is gonna be a pro this season,” a fan noted on Reddit, posting the dancer’s Instagram Story.
One fan responded, “I’d love this! I always wanted him as a pro on here. But I’d still wonder whose spot he’d take. Maybe he’s joining as a back up or something.”
Others gushed, “OH MY GOD I WOULD LOVE THAT!!” and “YES! God please yes. I’m hoping we got two new pros this season (1 male, one female).”
In another Reddit thread, fans speculated which pros we could be seeing on the show. “Who do you suppose the ‘new faces’ could be on this year’s pro lineup?,” one person asked.
One fan said, “If we get a new pro I think we will see a male pro. Female line up seems to be pretty much locked in right now with the same females. I at least hope to see a complete new face, someone who wasn’t ever involved with the show.”

Another noted, “Ideally it would have been Ezra and Alexis, but given they both seem to have new projects under their belts, I’m gonna say Julz and maybe Katya?”
Someone else shared, “Agree with this. I think it’s safe to say it’s most likely a male and while I’d love it to be Ezra, I won’t be shocked if it’s Julz.”
Another fan weighed in with their best guess, noting, “I’m surprised people are still saying Ezra and Alexis, not in a bad way, I think they deserve to be pros, but it’s definitely not happening this year as they’re both busy with other projects during the fall. If we’re getting a new male pro, I think it could be Julz or maybe even D’Angelo. If it’s a new female pro, I think Kateryna.”

For now, we’ll just have to play guessing games. Tocker hasn’t posted any other recent hints that indicate his possible role on Dancing With the Stars Season 33.
On April 27, he shared a video of him dancing with Sharna Burgess. He noted, in part, “Getting back to the roots, dancing for us, and doing just basics for hours on end like the old days was just magical. Working on my craft again personally has been really healthy and surprising, actually.”
