Wendy Williams will soon be back on our screens — this time telling her story, her way.

In the official trailer for the Lifetime documentary Where Is Wendy Williams?, the media icon gets candid about her challenges since the demise of her sustained career. As the TV and radio host has been placed under a guardianship due to falling ill, she questions where her money is in the doc.

“I have no money,” she can be heard saying in the clip. There’s also a scene of her arguing with someone over downing a bottle of liquor in one day.

“We all make choices in life,” her sister, Wanda, says in the clip. “We all go through our challenges. She’s still a person. We are her family and you tell me that I’m not capable of taking care of my sister. What would you do? What should I do?”

Hunter Jr. also states in the footage that he believes his mother has “yes people” around her and has expressed that he feels her team isn’t doing a good job of protecting the 50-year-old powerhouse.

Last year, Wendy’s manager, Will Selby refuted Hunter’s claims to ET, declaring that the former daytime host was focused on “Wendy 2.0 and her new chapter of her life.” He also publicly stated that he’s not taking advantage of Wendy’s health situation.

“Taking advantage of her for what? To get what? To do what? […] Wendy is under a guardianship,” Selby stated at the time. “Everything that she does gets approved by the guardianship. A court-appointed guardianship. So, no one, even if they wanted to take advantage of her—everything has to get approved by that court.”

Wendy Williams was placed under a guardianship in 2022 when Wells Fargo made claims that she was of “unsound mind” and a “victim of undue influence and financial exploitation.” However, the mother-of-one denied the financial institution’s claims and demanded she get her money back.
