Who Went Home and Who Made It Through Night 2 on 'The Voice' Season 25 Knockouts
Zoe Levert
The Knockouts continued for a second night on Season 25 of The Voice with coaches John Legend, Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay and Reba McEntire pairing up their teams for sing-offs which determine which artist goes through to the Playoffs and which one goes home.
The Knockouts are different from the Battles in that they are not duets. Rather, each of the artists makes their own song choice, which gives America a chance to see who they hope to be as a performer.
This year, the Mega Mentor is country icon Keith Urban who will be working with the coaches and the artists on the songs that they've chosen to prepare for their performances, but it will be up to the individual coaches as to who goes through to the Playoffs. There are no Saves in this round, but there are Steals.
So far, Dan + Shay stole country artist Tae Lewis from Team Reba – and they had to fight to do it because both John and Chance also hit their Steal buttons for Tae. Then, Chance used his Steal to acquire Kyle Schuesler from Team Dan + Shay later in the show.

It was a two-way Steal with both John and Reba pushing their buttons for Kamalei.
Steal: Kamalei Kawa’a
John said: “Kamalei gave such a beautiful interpretation of the song. I felt his heart, I felt his emotion, I had to push for him. His coming to Team Legend, what better ending could there be?”
Knockouts Round 2: Team Legend’s Mafe vs Gene Taylor
Mafe: “Almost is Never Enough” by Ariana Grande
Gene Taylor: “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” by Aerosmith
Winner: Mafe
John said: “I love Mafe. Her tone is so beautiful. Her energy is so warm and calm. It’s really special. She showed us her versatility in the types of songs she performs. I can’t wait to see what she does next.”

Knockouts Round 3: Team Dan + Shay's Karen Waldrup vs Ducote Talmage
Ducote Talmage: “She Got the Best of Me” by Luke Combs
Karen Waldrup: “Georgia Rain” by Trisha Yearwood
Winner: Karen Waldrup
Dan said: “Karen and Ducote, our country pairing, both really brought the heat. I think Karen edged it out a little bit. She was just super dynamic in her performance; super precise. Karen is a superstar. She’s so good. She can sing any song we throw her way. She really wants to be a country singer through and through and she’s going to crush it on this show.”
Shay said: “She has so much potential.”
Battle Round 4: Team Reba’s Justin & Jeremy Garcia vs Zeya Rae
Justin & Jeremy Garcia: “You Are the Reason” by Caleb Scott
Zeya Rae: “River” by Bishop Briggs
Winner: Justin & Jeremy Garcia
Reba said: “It was a hard decision because Zeya is so good but I had to pick Justin and Jeremy because of the uniqueness of their act. Everybody’s great singers so we have to have something a little different. And going with the brothers is part of my strategy.”

Alyssa Crosby: “I Guess That’s Why They Call it the Blues” by Elton John
RLETTO: “Stay” by The Kid LAROI (with Justin Bieber)
Winner: RLETTO
Chance said: “A decision like this is really difficult. Alyssa grew so much but I had to go with RLETTO. He’s a world-class talent. My favorite part about RLETTO is his ability to improvise and make any performance and any song sound like a brand-new song.”
Battle Round 6: Team Legend’s Zoe Levert vs Jackie Romeo
Zoe Levert: “Cowboy Take Me Away” by The Chicks
Jackie Romeo: “Love on the Brain” by Rihanna
Winner: Zoe Levert
John said: “Zoe is kind of an underdog. She was a one-chair turn in the Blinds but she keeps rising to the occasion and we’re watching her blossom. I think Zoe is definitely going to be a lovable artist for our country fans, so we've got to keep going.”
Steal: Jackie Romeo
Reba said: “Jackie could sing country. Jackie could sing anything she wants because she’s that strong of a singer. I’m excited to get to work with her on the Playoffs.”
