‘Westworld’ Season 3 Teaser: Forget Delos, Here’s a Commercial for Incite Inc (Video)
“Westworld” dropped a new teaser for its upcoming third season on Friday. Well, it dropped a fake ad for Incite Inc. — a new in-universe company we’ve never heard of — which we’re definitely going to consider a teaser for the Evan Rachel Wood-led HBO sci-fi series.
“The world is complex, complicated, messy. But life doesn’t have to be,” says Liam Dempsey Sr. (played by Jefferson Mays), the co-founder of Incite Inc, in the ad, which you can above. “The future is powered by you and we know you. Incite is different. We’re not Silicon Valley vaporware. We have unprecedented computing capabilities, analyzing data for life’s most unsolvable problems. We can protect our climate and we can find you a career you can be excited about. The possibilities are limitless. But with Incite the only choice you’ll have to make is us.”
And then Dempsey puts his hand on his heart and the video — which is officially being referred to as the “Incite Anthem,” whatever that means — cuts to an image of an eye with coding swirling inside of it.

HBO confirmed to TheWrap that Mays has joined the Season 3 cast in the role of this creepy Liam Dempsey Sr. guy. The trailer was introduced at the Wired25 event in San Francisco during a panel called “The Future of Data: The Promise and Peril,” sponsored by Incite. For those keeping track, that’s a real panel, sponsored by a fictional company (but, you know, actually just HBO).
OK, so we have no idea what any of this means beyond the fact that it appears Incite is going to be a rival to Delos, the company behind Host-filled theme parks like Westworld, Shogun World and The Raj. We also have a feeling that mysterious new Season 3 character Caleb (played by Aaron Paul) works here. But that’s just us theorizing.
Here’s Incite’s description, which comes courtesy of the fake tech giant’s website, which you should definitely explore for more clues.

The world can feel chaotic: big problems, no solutions, no one to lead the way. Global issues may seem so complex that untangling the answers feels impossible. Here at Incite, we want to make “impossible” a thing of the past. Chaos is merely a pattern waiting to be uncovered. You can help us chart a better future.
Powered by our revolutionary strategy engine, we are able to calculate sophisticated solutions to problems large and small, from global climate change to personal career growth. We believe we have a personal responsibility to make the world a better place, starting at home. Here at Incite, your data doesn’t work for us — we work for you.
There is no premiere date set for “Westworld” Season 3 yet, though we do know it will debut in the first half of 2020. And, as TheWrap reported exclusively, the season will consist of eight episodes.
