‘Wet Hot American Summer’: Watch Paul Rudd Not Age Over The Years
It was a seemingly innocuous line in the original Wet Hot American Summer film from Bradley Cooper’s Ben: “Hey, let’s all promise that in 10 years from today, we’ll meet again, and we’ll see what kind of people we’ve blossomed into.”
That tease is paying off in a big way this summer. Last week, Netflix released the first glimpse of the long-awaited sequel series to the cult classic, showing us how some of our favorite characters have “blossomed” since that fateful and absurd last day at Camp Firewood. What will happen when they’re finally reunited? Well, we have to wait until August 4 to find out, but since they’re all in their late 20s now, we don’t see any reason why they can’t get to where they are supposed to be on time.
Check out the video above and take a look at how the characters, um, “aged” from First Day of Camp to Ten Years Later. Except for Paul Rudd. That man is clearly immortal.
All Eight episodes of Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later will be available Friday, August 4 on Netflix.
