‘What the f***?’: Scarlett Johansson reacts to Colin Jost sliming her during MTV acceptance speech
During Sunday’s MTV Movie and TV Awards, Scarlett Johansson took home the prestigious Generation Award... with a side of slime. During her acceptance speech, which seemed to be from the actor's home, her husband Colin Jost poured a bowl of slime on her head.
Johansson and Jost got married last October, after several years of dating. The two met on the set of Saturday Night Live, which Jost works on and Johansson has hosted several times. While she likes the comedian because he makes her laugh, Johansson acted as though getting slimed was no laughing matter.
“What the f***?” the Black Widow star exclaimed. “MTV! You got slimed,” responded Jost.
Johansson quickly pointed out that concept of “sliming” comes from the Nickelodeon network, not MTV. It actually originated on the series You Can’t Do That On Television. Sliming is now a featured spectacle on the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards.
