John Krasinski is back at it with the latest A Quiet Place franchise installment. A Quiet Place: Day One serves as a prequel that explores the beginnings of the alien takeover.

With Lupita Nyong'o leading the cast alongside Joseph Quinn, A Quiet Place: Day One shares new insight into the apocalyptic franchise. While she might be the most familiar face in the latest movie, you may recognize several other cast members. But if you don't, let me provide you with a brief refresher on where you may have seen them in the past.
Lupita Nyong'o stars as Samira.
Little introduction is needed for Lupita Nyong'o, who has dominated Hollywood for over a decade. The Academy Award-winning star of 2013's 12 Years Of Slave has continued to carve out her name in film history with numerous critically acclaimed movies, including Black Panther and its sequel and Jordan Peele's Us . The British actor is nearly ten years deep into his career and has quite an impressive resumé. Most people likely know him for his role in Stranger Things . However, outside of the Netflix series, he has also appeared in a number of shows and movies, including Les Misérables, Game of Thrones , and Catherine The Great .

While briefly appearing in A Quiet Place 2 , Hounsou's role in A Quiet Place: Day One cemented his place in Krasinski's horror film universe as his name is revealed to be Henri. However, this movie is the tip of the iceberg regarding his filmography, which includes a long list of Blockbuster hits and critically acclaimed movies. His role as Korath The Pursuer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has led to his appearances in movies like Guardians Of The Galaxy and Captain Marvel. Hounsou's also made strides in the DC Extended Universe as Shazam (Shazam! , Black Adam , and Shazam! Fury of the Gods ) and Fisherman King in Aquaman . Additionally, he's also appeared in Gladiator, Furious 7, and How To Train Your Dragon 2 . Needless to say, he's one of the most accomplished actors in A Quiet Place: Day One .

Alex Wolff has come a long way since his Nickelodeon days on The Naked Brothers Band where he co-starred alongside his brother, Nat Wolff. Though the two released a handful of albums after the show's conclusion, Alex has undoubtedly taken his acting career to new heights while shedding the stigma of being a child star. He appeared alongside Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Bacon in 2016's Patriots Day and portrayed Derf Backderf in 2017's My Friend Dahmer . That same year, he appeared in Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle . However, his most notable role in the horror space came in 2018's Hereditary when he played the role of 16-year-old Peter Graham. Interestingly enough, he also appeared in Pigs , directed by A Quiet Place: Day One director Michael Sarnoski.

Moreover, she's racked up many awards for Best Actress at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, Gdyia Polish Feature Film Festival, and Clermont Ferrand International Short film festival.
