Where can I watch ‘Anyone But You’? How to see Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell's new rom-com
Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell have been making headlines for their rumored affairs during the filming of “Anyone But You.”
After seeing pictures and videos of the two interacting, fans have been saying the chemistry between them is off the charts. Which has made the wait for the rom-com that much more difficult.
Directed by Will Gluck, “Anyone But You” is about law student Bea (Sweeney) who spends the night with Goldman Sachs finance guy Ben (Powell). The two develop a frosty relationship with each other but are forced to come together for a wedding in Australia, where they pretend to date to appease their family and friends while warding off their exes.
Do these two end up being more than just enemies? Is the chemistry between Sweeney and Powell really as hot as fans think it will be? You can be the judge of that for yourself. The movie was released on Dec. 22.
Where can I watch ‘Anyone But You’?
“Anyone But You” is still playing in select theaters as "The Valentine Encore." In the metro Phoenix area, the movie is at Harkins Theatres, AMC Theatres, Fat Cats and RoadHouse Cinemas.
The movie is also currently available to watch digitally through YouTube, Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Fandango at Home and Google Play. You can rent the movie starting March 5.
Will ‘Anyone But You’ be on Netflix?
The movie isn’t streaming for free yet. But there is a good chance that when it is, the movie will be on Netflix. That’s because the film distributor is Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group, and they signed a deal with Netflix in 2021.
Under the deal, Netflix will obtain “first pay window rights to SPE titles following their theatrical and home entertainment windows.”
Since Sony’s recent 2023 anti-romcom “No Hard Feelings” is on Netflix, there’s a high possibility “Anyone But You” will follow suit.
It will likely start streaming sometime in spring 2024.
What streaming service will ‘Anyone But You’ be on?
Although the film is likely to be on Netflix with a subscription, it is currently available to buy on YouTube, Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Fandango at Home and Google Play. It will be available to rent on March 5.

Is ‘Anyone But You’ based on ‘Much Ado About Nothing’?
“Anyone But You” is based on Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” with Bea based off the character Beatrice and Ben based off the role of Benedick. The two are tricked into falling in love with each other in the play by Benedick’s friend Claudio and Beatrice’s cousin Hero – who are also a couple.
How long will ‘Anyone But You’ be in theaters?
How long “Anyone But You” will be in theaters depends on how the film performs at the box office. The film made $6.2 million in its first three days; almost $9 million including Monday.
It was released on Dec. 22, if it’s to follow how “No Hard Feelings” was released, this means it will likely be released on streaming platforms in four months and will play in theaters until then. Right now the film is doing a "Valentine Encore" so if you want to see it in theaters, you still have some time.
