Another member of the White Collar crimes unit is on board for the upcoming revival.

“I’ve talked to [creator] Jeff Eastin a bit here and there, and yeah, Jones is still in the world,” Atkins said while promoting his guest spot in this Wednesday’s episode of Chicago Med.
The actor is mum on specifics, only hinting that perhaps Jones has now moved up the ladder.
“I’m curious about what’s Jones doing these days. What department is he heading? What team is he leading?” Atkins says. “It’s really exciting. I’ve heard that the script is top-notch. It pays homage, beautifully, to the late Willie Garson, and it just really picks back up where it left off in terms of the wit and the excitement and the relationships. I’m looking forward to it myself.”
Reflecting on the show’s original run from 2009-2014, Atkins describes the experience as “a good time” and “six strong years.”
“There’s something special about working in a city like New York. It’s something that really bonds you, and the experience, for all of us, is something that, for sure, we’ll never forget,” Atkins adds.
Last week, Eastin revealed on X (fka Twitter) that he had turned in a pilot script to the studio for the revival, dubbed White Collar Renaissance. (The episode title? “Masquerade.”) “Can report the studio is very happy with the new White Collar script,” Eastin wrote.
Buzz about revisiting the series began in November 2023 when series co-lead Matt Bomer shared with TVLine that there was “very legitimate talk” about bringing back the “blue sky” drama. Then in June 2024, Bomer and co-stars Tim DeKay and Tiffani Thiessen expressed interest in reprising their roles at a 15th anniversary reunion panel held at our sister site Variety’s TV Fest.
White Collar starred Bomer as charming con man Neal Caffrey, who works as a criminal informant under the supervision of FBI Special Agent Peter Burke (DeKay). The ensemble also included Willie Garson as Neal’s con man best friend Mozzie, Thiessen as Peter’s wife Elizabeth, Marsha Thomason as FBI Special Agent Diana Berrigan and Atkins as FBI Special Agent Clinton Jones. Additionally, Hilarie Burton played Neal’s love interest, insurance investigator Sara Ellis, while Diahann Carroll portrayed June Ellington, a wealthy widow whom Neal befriends and ends up living with.
