The show’s description reads, “From racing through Rachel and Monica’s apartment to darting across Joey and Chandler’s bachelor pad and grabbing a coffee at Central Perk, fans will re-live their favorite moments while being put to the test with trivia, puzzles and games that will keep even the most die-hard Friends fans on their toes. The quickest team will win the title of ‘Ultimate Friends Fan.'”

In a statement, Cummings said she was “beyond thrilled” about her new gig, referring to herself as a “longtime fan” of Friends.

“After 30 years, the fandom surrounding this beloved series only continues to grow and now I have the great pleasure of awarding the ultimate fans with bragging rights for life,” she added.

Friends premiered on NBC on Sept. 22, 1994, running for 10 seasons and becoming one of the network’s biggest shows, with fans continuing to watch the show in syndication and streaming. Max became the exclusive streaming home of the series in 2021 and has also marked the Friends 30th anniversary with themed collections of episodes.

In addition to her work as a comedian, Cummings is an actress, writer, producer, director and host of the Good for You podcast. She created and starred in the series Whitney, which ran from 2011-2013 on NBC, and co-created and co-wrote the CBS sitcom Two Broke Girls, which ran from 2011-2017. She released her memoir, I’m Fine … And Other Lies, in 2017 and her sixth stand-up special Mouthy in 2023.
