This is Why Bold and the Beautiful’s Sheila is No Victim

Sheila toys with Li.
Sheila toys with Li.

Since finding Sheila chained up in the warehouse, the notorious villain has been lapping up Deacon and Finn’s attention and acting every inch of the victim. Even Hope called Sheila a “victim” when she revealed the woman’s return to Ridge and Liam. However, in the Thursday, May 9 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, she proved she was no victim when she toyed with Li at the hospital.

Hide and Seethe

Early in the episode, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) answered Deacon’s proposal. After a bout of lightheadedness, Deacon (Sean Kanan — who is helping people learn to act) insisted on taking his “struggling” fiancée to the hospital.

While Deacon was out of the room, Sheila asked the nurse for a special request. She wanted to know if Li (Naomi Matsuda) was available. Yes, she specifically asked for Dr. Finnegan — not her biological son — to see her. When the nurse told Li a “Sheila” requested to be seen by her, Li’s guard went up. She looked like a chill went up her spine.

In the hospital room, Sheila turned her reveal into a show. She refused to talk while hiding underneath the sheet so Li couldn’t see her new patient. Dr. Finnegan tried to be nice and asked her to remove the sheet so she could talk to her face-to-face. Unfortunately, Sheila didn’t comply. Instead, she revealed her foot, which was missing one toe! And this is the set-up for what’s hopefully an epic Friday showdown. Li is one of the few who doesn’t hold back when she faces Sheila. The two share a tumultuous history, and you know Sheila will relish telling Li that Finn (Tanner Novlan) is the one who helped save her life. And that he now wants a relationship with his birth mom. Also, how he thinks she’s redeemed and deserves another chance.

But the evil smirk on Sheila’s face said it all. She’s not a changed woman. In fact, it’s still fair to think that she engineered this whole Sugar-holding-her captive-and-trying-to-kill-Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) business in order to gain sympathy from her son. Which it has. It’s completely worked. She has Finn snowed. He’s at 100% believe Sheila at all costs capacity.

Until we find out the truth, it’s hard to see Sheila act lovey-dovey with Deacon. Also, it’ll be hard to see Finn’s relationship with Steffy crash and burn. So who among the Forresters and Logans will ultimately out Sheila’s latest dastardly deed? (Learn how you could walk on to B&B here)
