Why Jenna Bush Hager Is Missing From 'Today' Segment With Hoda Kotb
During the fourth hour of Today, one-half of the dynamic duo was notably absent as Hoda Kotb interviewed Jennifer Garner and her mother, Pat, alongside Sheinelle Jones.
With no fanfare, Jenna Bush Hager missed out on Today with Hoda and Jenna on Monday, June 24, and the beloved co-host failed to leave any clues behind on her own social media accounts, leading viewers to wonder where she could be.
However, anyone concerned about the mother of three can rest easy, as she's off to Colorado for a pair of speaking engagements at the Aspen Ideas Festival this week—a gathering of "brilliant leaders and thinkers from around the globe to discuss the ideas that will shape tomorrow and help us understand today," according to its website.
On Monday, Bush Hager sat down with Chris Whitaker, the New York Times bestselling author of her July pick for her book club, Read With Jenna, before joining a panel of other parents for a session called "The Dilemma of Modern Parenting," where "three changemakers who are drilling down on what matters the most for our kids" spoke about raising empathetic and resilient people today.
It's unknown if her family is along for the ride or if the trip may turn into an extended vacation, but, based on the schedule, chances are, Bush Hager will be back on our screens later this week, if not bright and early on Tuesday morning, for another viral debate or to test another unhinged hack with her co-anchor Kotb.
