Kate Middleton is reportedly feeling stronger by the day after completing her chemotherapy treatments. Still, this life-changing moment in her life has given her a new perspective on how she would like to carry out her royal duties moving forward.

Robert Jobson, author of Catherine: The Princess of Wales, told Hello! that while the Princess of Wales is back to “doing all the things she wanted to do” in her personal life, her public life will look much different in the coming months. Think of it as a “less is more” approach.
“I do think that we will start to see a lot more of her and that she will carry out engagements as well as continue to work behind the scenes,” Jobson explained. “But rather than travel all over the country all the time, like she used to, I think she will concentrate on more impactful events.” He expects her to “come back in stages” with engagements that are “important to her” because her health is still a top priority.
In addition to maintaining her health status, there’s also a PR strategy behind this new plan. “They probably realize that if you get a lot of something all the time, it lessens its impact,” he added. “With Catherine being the main female star of the royal family, actually you can make a bigger statement by being seen less.”
The Telegraph predicted that Kate would be less available for royal engagements back in June after her Trooping the Colour appearance. They described the palace’s outline for Kate as “under-promising and over-delivering” by offering “a powerful emotional message, a surprise photograph, and a full-scale outing to come that no one would have expected her to manage.” That is exactly what Kate seems to be executing with her calendar moving forward.
The news will probably irritate anti-monarchists like Graham Smith, the leader of the group, Republic, who often criticizes the royal family for not working enough on the taxpayers’ money. Still, the palace has proven to ignore the criticism and move ahead with the plans that suit them best. So, there will likely be less Kate on the royal calendar, but any appearance she does make will be a headline generator.
