Why Was Thor Crying in Deadpool and Wolverine? Ryan Reynolds Knows...
One scene in Deadpool and Wolverine has ignited the imagination of fans, and Ryan Reynolds has now poured fuel on the fire.
That scene involves Chris Hemsworth’s Thor embracing a dying Deadpool. When Deadpool visits the TVA, he glimpses the moment on a video screen, saying, “What is that? Is that me? Is that Thor? Is he crying?”
“Uh let’s not get ahead of ourselves,” responds Mr Paradox. “That happens in the distant future.” With the TVA having the ability to see all possible timelines, as well as events yet to come, it seems death lies in Deadpool’s destiny. But when, and how?
“I know why Thor was crying,” writes the Deadpool actor in a post on Twitter. “I can’t unknow it.” It doesn’t look like Reynolds is sharing his knowledge any time soon, but the leading theory concerns upcoming Marvel movie Avengers: Secret Wars, which is set for a 2027 release date.
The movie is rumored to be Marvel’s biggest yet, bringing together dozens, if not hundreds of heroes and villains. It looks like two of those heroes might be Thor and Deadpool - and given Thor’s tears, the pair have clearly bonded over the years. Check out Reynold’s tweet below.
But forget Secret Wars for a second - is Kevin Feige working on a secret Star Wars film?
