Here’s Why Young and the Restless Star Courtney Hope Scared Herself As Sally
Sally Spectra really let Adam have it the last two days after he finally told the truth about sleeping with Chelsea on The Young and the Restless. Courtney Hope’s scenes have been absolutely stunning, and the actress said she actually scared herself.
Scary Mad
Earlier this week, Sally directed her absolute fury at Adam (Mark Grossman) after Billy (Jason Thompson) revealed that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) confessed to sleeping with Adam. Adam tried to lie, and Sally flat-out yelled at him to stop it. The scenes were powerful, and Hope admitted she scared herself with them in an Instagram story.
“So Sally’s mad, and for everyone, I don’t think I’ve ever been that mad in my real life,” the actress revealed.”So, I scared myself watching it back. Yeah.” It’s pretty amazing how even she felt the rawness of the moment between Adam and Sally.
“But anyway, I just wanted to say that it was a lot but warranted, but a lot. Anyway, I’m glad everyone is enjoying the outcome of their heartbreak,” she said. Hope finished the video by wishing everybody a happy Tuesday.
Award Winning?
The actress is fresh off winning the Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Daytime Drama Series: Actress Daytime Emmy in June for her performance last year when Sally and Adam lost Ava Hope. Watching this performance certainly reminded us of those intense emotions she felt after losing her baby. With so much intensity, could this week’s scenes between Sally and Adam be what Hope includes on her reel for this year if she compiles one? We certainly think they should be.
How did you feel about Sally’s reaction? Do you have any hope that she will forgive Adam? Should Sally even consider forgiving him? Let us know your thoughts on the situation in the comments section below.
