A wildly popular San Diego chicken chain is coming to Phoenix. Here's what's on the menu
San Diego-based Crack Shack restaurant chain is coming to metro Phoenix.
Originally conceptualized by celebrity chef Richard Blais, an award-winning cookbook author, chef and winner of the 2010 "Top Chef: All-Stars," the chain was his casual counterpart to Juniper and Ivy, Blais' fine dining restaurant that was named a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand Restaurant 2019.
The Crack Shack concept was born in 2015 when the Juniper and Ivy team wondered what to do with the shack next to their restaurant. Their collective love of fried chicken led to the opening of the casual, counter service restaurant that gained a large local fan base. Co-founder and CEO Michael Rosen expanded the chain to multiple locations in California, Nevada, Texas and Utah.
