Who will win ‘Dancing with the Stars’ season 33? Make your predictions now!

“Dancing with the Stars” officially announced its season 33 cast on Wednesday morning, September 4, and now you can predict who will win the competition, who will be eliminated, who will get the highest score and more here in our predictions center. There are 13 contestants vying for the Mirror Ball Trophy this year. The first who was revealed was Stephen Nedoroscik, a breakout star from the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris. The athlete, affectionately known as “pommel horse guy,” follows in a long line of gymnasts who have competed on the show, but all the gymnasts who have strutted their stuff in the ballroom before him were ladies. Two of them won the competition — Shawn Johnson and Laurie Hernandez — while multiple others finished in the top four. But there is more of a dance component built into women’s gymnastics than there is in men’s, so we’ll have to see if Nedoroscik has the rhythm to match his strength and stamina.

But Nedoroscik isn’t the only sports star competing this season. Football players have a storied history on “DWTS,” accounting for four Mirror Ball Trophies. This year Super Bowl champion Danny Amendola is in the cast with hopes of continuing that legacy. Basketball players have notoriously struggled on the show due to the awkward height differences between them and their professional partners, but “DWTS” pro Daniella Karagach overcame that to win the Mirror Ball Trophy with Iman Shumpert in season 30; this year producers have teamed her with Dwight Howard, who at 6’10” is five inches taller than Shumpert. Lastly, rugby gets its introduction to the dance floor as Olympic bronze medalist Ilona Maher shoots her shot in the ballroom.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a season of “DWTS” without representatives from “Bachelor Nation.” The most recent “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” stars Joey Graziadei and Jenn Tran, respectively, are competing against each other. Tran was actually a contestant in Graziadei’s season of “The Bachelor” before becoming the subsequent “Bachelorette,” so this will be the first time a “Bachelor Nation” star will be pitted against someone who competed for their hand in marriage. Tran might get her revenge, though, if history is any indication. “Bachelorettes” have had way more luck on the dance floor than their male counterparts. Two women from the franchise have won the Mirror Ball Trophy (Hannah Brown and Kaitlyn Bristowe), while the men usually finish in the middle of the pack.

Rounding out the cast are notorious con artist Anna Delvey (the subject of the “Inventing Anna” limited series), TV star Chandler Kinney, model Brooks Nader, reality TV star Phaedra Parks, actor Eric Roberts, “90210” alum Tori Spelling and actor Reginald VelJohnson.
