And the Winner of 'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars' Season 9 Is...

We've got a winner baby! After 12 episodes, 11 maxi-challenges, dozens of Benefactress Badges and plenty of twists, a new queen has been crowned on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.

At the beginning of Season 9, eight fan favorite returned to the Werk Room for a chance to compete for $200,000 and coveted place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. However, this season brought with it a wrinkle. Instead of competing to win the money for themselves, each of the all stars was competing on behalf of a charity. AND no one was going home. Instead the queens would be competing each week for Benefactress Badges, with the three queens with the most badges at the end of the competition lip syncing for the crown.

This week on the grand finale, the eight queens competed in one final talent show challenge, with the top two earning three additional Benefactress Badges. Then the results of the Double Diamond twist were announced, with the winning queen doubling her badge count. Finally, the top three queens lip synced for the crown, with one taking home the top prize.

Here's everything that went down in the finale of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 9:

Why was Kamala Harris on RuPaul's Drag Race?

RuPaul has long been a proponent of voting and spends a lot of time each season encouraging viewers of the show to vote. As a part of that get-out-the-vote push, Kamala Harris filmed a special promo for the beginning of finale urging those watching to register to vote. According to Deadline, the clip was filmed over a month ago before Kamala Harris became the presumptive Democratic nominee for president.

The clip aired at the beginning of the finale and doesn't include any interactions with the season's cast of queens. She also doesn't serve as a mentor or guest judge. Rather she is part of a "Drag Race viewing party" along with Michelle Visage, Jamal Sims, Lance Bass, Leslie Jones and Cheyenne Jackson. Together the group encourages watchers to vote before the episode begins.

Nina West

The Double Diamond was awarded to Nina West. Her fellow queens voted to give her the special prize that doubled the amount of Benefactress Badges she'd earned over the course of the season. Unfortunately, having only earned two badges previously, Nina's total only increased to four, which wasn't enough to get her into the finale. Perhaps this was the reason why some of the queens voted for her, given that she wasn't likely to beat them even if she did win this twist.
